Animation Planet is a regionally organized Film Festival featuring short animation films and educational workshops based in Portland, Maine.
NorthEAST animation
Animation Planet was co founded by Shawn Brewer and Josie Colt. Two Maine based artists who strive to establish a fun and relevant community of makers in the animation field.
From stop motion to 2D drawn, the festival celebrates northeast makers in a unique community organized film festival. We bring workshops, demonstrations and an opportunity for networking to everyone to attends.
We pride ourselves on being a low barrier festival with no submission fees, providing a chance for novices and experts alike to screen their videos to the public.
